Tavern
Clock
A
wonderfully mellowed circular dial tavern or "Act of Parliament"
clock of eight day duration. The lacquer case is 43" high and
carries a leaf design to the ear pieces, sides and deeply moulded
base. The trunk door carries raised chinoiserie decoration depicting
temples, pavilions and characters in traditional Chinese costume.
The movement is of eight day duration and the time is displayed via
the original brass hands terminating in heart shaped tips. |

Longcase
Clock
Small
cottage longcase clock of one day duration with brass dial. The pine
case stands just 77¼" high with original painted, scumbled
and grained finish is of elegant small proportions. The movement is
of one day duration with countwheel striking, of posted frame (birdcage)
construction. The time is displayed via the single hand to the brass
dial with raised chapter ring framed by well cast spandrels over a
matted centre. |
